The set of “Social Family 2”
For a few days, our garden became a TV set
Angelo Pisani, Katia Follesa and their daughter Agata are the protagonists of Social Family 2 – Stories di famiglia, the second season of the series that humorously and lightly portrays their everyday family life. The series was produced by Banijay Italia for Discovery Italia and aired on Real Time, as well as being available on discovery+.
But what makes this story special to us is something else: In Giardino B&B was chosen as a location for some of the outdoor scenes.
For a few days, our home and garden looked completely different. Our everyday B&B life was joined by the crew, equipment, lights, cameras and all the things that normally remain behind the scenes of a television production.
Seeing our garden transformed into a small film set was certainly an unusual experience. Even today, looking back at the photographs from those days, it still makes us smile to think that some scenes from the series were filmed right here.
We kept some photographs taken during the filming and decided to collect them here, to share a small part of that special days with our guests.

A curiosity from our town
Modà were born here
Not everyone knows that Modà have their roots right here in Cassina de' Pecchi.
The band's story began in the early 2000s, when Francesco “Kekko” Silvestre, who grew up in Cassina de' Pecchi, decided to form a band with musicians from the area. The group was initially called Pop Doc and began performing in venues across northern Italy. The name Modà came shortly afterwards, as the band that would eventually become known to a much wider audience began to take shape.
But the connection with Cassina goes beyond the band's origins.
The group's early years are closely connected to the area: some of their first musical experiences took place here, and one of their early music videos was also filmed in a local venue. Kekko himself has spoken about how many ideas for his songs came from observing everyday life and people in the town and surrounding area.
The connection has remained part of the band's story over the years. In 2022, to mark the Modà's 20th anniversary, the Municipality of Cassina de' Pecchi also organised a special event celebrating the band's history, with music and activities dedicated to the group.
So for anyone who knows and enjoys Modà, staying in Cassina de' Pecchi means being right where their story began: not just a musical curiosity, but a small part of the history of the town.

We wanted to bring a little garden indoors, with a small fence, flowers, plants, garden lamps and other details that would normally be found outdoors.
It is a simple idea, born from the desire to create something a little different from the usual.
